Why do we need compliance or inspections? Isn't equipment specified as DCI Compliant good enough?

The DCinemaCompliance Group has years of experience installing DCinema, Broadcast and Post-Production equipment. We take a systems approach that is broader than the DCI Specs. There is a lot of equipment in a system that isn't detailed by the specs: items as simple as ethernet routers or as sophisticated as satellite download equipment. Each of these is a potential point of Security and Quality Failure.

Our inspectors make certain that the installer did the work right, and that the equipment installed was the same as the equipment ordered.

Then we train a projectionist in what to look for. They get started on the to road to be professionals in the modern IT/encryption/security and digital quality era. And, we make it simple with an on-line report system.

Our check lists cover the critical and the mundane. The on-line reports allow the integrator to assure the studios that their systems are working.
